Specify the Dataset to Use for Grouping and Sorting Data

When a document contains multiple datasets, one dataset is designated as the grouping and sorting dataset. The document can be grouped and sorted only by the objects in this dataset. The first dataset added to the document is designated as the grouping and sorting dataset. However, although you can select another dataset.

1. Open the document in design mode.
2. In the Dataset Objects panel, right-click the dataset that you want to be the primary dataset.
3. Choose Set as grouping and sorting dataset.
