Access the Advanced Filter Editor and New Qualification Dialogs
Use the Advanced Filter Editor and New Qualification dialogs to set up advanced filtering.
- Open a dashboard.
- Do one of the following:
- To set up advanced filtering for a visualization:
- Click More
in the upper right corner of the visualization and choose Edit Filter. - If the grid contains row or column sets, select the tab for the set to filter.
- Click Add New Qualification.
- Click More
- To set up advanced filtering for a metric:
- Right-click the metric in the Datasets panel and choose Create Metric.
- In the Functions pane, select one of the following functions to add it to the derived metric definition in the right pane: Avg, Count, First, GeoMean, Last, Max, Median, Min, Mode, Product, Stdev, StdevP, Sum, Var, VarP, Level.
- Click
Add Filter.
A derived metric with advanced filtering is also know as a conditional metric.
