Increase the Number of Change Journal Entries to View or Export

Strategy is retiring legacy administration tools in phases as capabilities move to Workstation, now available in the browser. December 2026 is last supported release for server legacy tools including, Developer, Command Manager, and Object Manager. By default the change journal displays and exports the last 1,000 entries. You can increase this number in the Browsing category of the Developer Preferences dialog box. Viewing more entries may make the browsing and exporting process take longer.

  1. In Developer, from the Tools menu select MicroStrategy Developer Preferences.
  2. In the General category, select Browsing.
  3. In the Maximum number of monitoring objects displayed per page field, specify the maximum number of change journal entries to display.
  4. In the Maximum number of transactions retrieved per metadata change journaling search field, specify the maximum number of change journal entries to export.
  5. Click OK.
