Data Retention

Starting in Strategy (October 2026), you can use data retention settings to define governing rules across all Mosaic Sentinel modules to control storage volumes. Use these settings to prevent storage costs and data volume from scaling out of control.

1. From the Strategy Library Home page, click Workstation in the sidebar.

2. In the left pane, click Environment Settings.

3. Click the Environment tab and click Sentinel.

4. Under Data Retention, add values to the following settings:

   

   • General Sentinel Retention (Days): Define the default storage duration for your Sentinel modules in days. After this time limit is reached, your data is removed.

   • Performance Module Retention (Days): Define the storage duration for the performance metrics gathered in the Performance Optimization module in days. After this time limit is reached, your data is removed.

5. Click Save.
