Preview Feature: Select a Tuning Version for an Agent

Administrators manage tuning versions for each agent. Beginning in Strategy (October 2026), you can select which one is actively used, to test and compare outcomes, choosing the best-performing version to activate. The tuning version contains custom instructions and column descriptions.

You can also create a tuning version from the agent's current custom instructions and column descriptions.

This is available as a preview feature in Strategy (October 2026).

Preview features are early versions of features and are not to be used in a production environment as the core behavior remain subject to change between preview and GA. By selecting to expose preview features, you can access these features and use them as you would any other functionality. The official versions of preview features are included in subsequent releases.

Prerequisites

Select a Tuning Version

  1. Create a new agent or open an existing agent and click the Edit icon in the upper right.
  2. In the toolbar, click Agent Tuning , point to Tuning Versions, and select the version from the list.

Save the Current Settings as a Tuning Version

  1. Create a new agent or open an existing agent and click the Edit icon in the upper right.
  2. Refine the agent's custom instructions and column descriptions so the agent behaves as you want.
  3. In the toolbar, click Agent Tuning and select Save As New Version.
  4. Name and save the version. It is added to the list of available tuning versions.
