Share a Folder

Starting Strategy (August 2026) you can share a folder using a hyperlink.

Sharing folders using a hyperlink is supported in Library Web only.

Prerequisites

The Library application must be configured to allow browsing folders. See Customize Application Components.

Generate a Folder Hyperlink

1. In the Navigation pane, click Browse Folders.

2. Find the folder to share.

3. Right-click your folder and choose Copy Link.

   

   A notification displays that the link is copied to your clipboard.

   

   You can share the link as you would any hyperlink. If a Library session is active, the link directs the user to the folder. If a Library session is not active, the user is prompted to login before being directed to the target folder.

Generate a My Report Folder Hyperlink for a Personal Folder

Use the following steps to generate a link to your personal folder:

1. In the Navigation pane, click Browse Folders.

2. Locate the My Report folder in the project you want to share.

3. Right-click the folder and choose Copy Link.

4. Paste the link into a text editor and replace /folder/28C2AFA5234746600431EDA01B2B00DB?type=8 with /preDefined/20.

   Share the link as you would any hyperlink. If a Library session is active, the link opens the folder. If not, the user is prompted to sign in and then directed to their personal folder.
