Strategy One
Show and Hide Objects
Starting in Strategy One (May 2026), you can show or hide objects in Mosaic models. Use this option to reduce visual clutter when using Mosaic models in dashboard, Universal Semantic Layer, agents, cards, and Auto Narrative.
Note the following:
-
Hidden objects remain visible in the current model when using Mosaic Studio.
-
If you are using a linked model, the initial hidden status of an external object is inherited from the base model when the link is created. After the model is linked, the hide and show status of the external object is managed in the linked model, not the base model. Hide and show status changes in the base model will not be reflected in the linked model and status changes in the linked model will not reflect in the base model.
