Generate HTML Output in Explorer

Use Explorer to interact with all your Strategy AI, from agents to Auto Dashboard to Mosaic models--even beyond Strategy to searching online for answers. Use Explorer to generate HTML output to turn answers and visuals into shareable HTML summaries.

Prerequisites

  • The following privileges are required:

    • To access Explorer in Library: Use Explorer privilege under the AI group

    • To query agents: Run AI Bots

    • To query datasets: Use Universal Access and Run AI Bots

    • To upload unstructured data: Create and Configure Unstructured Data privilege

    • To upload images for Auto Dashboard: Upload images in Auto Dashboard privilege

    • To send email: Use distribution services privilege

  • Agents and AI-enabled datasets must be certified.

  • To send email, Share via Email must be enabled in the AI Admin console.

  • To generate HTML output, HTML Creation must be enabled in the AI Admin console.

  • To allow web search, Web Search must be enabled in the AI Admin console.

Generate HTML Output Using Explorer

  1. In the Library sidebar, click Explorer.

  2. Select the mode for Explorer. This selection applies to all queries and tasks in the Explorer session until you change it. In the query box, select one of the following from the drop-down list:

    • If you are creating open-ended or unpredictable tasks and want AI to prioritize flexibility and exploration over speed, select Adaptive.

    • If you are creating well-defined, specific tasks and want AI to prioritize speed and efficiency over flexibility, select Planned.

  3. If you do not need to include the conversation history as context for your subsequent questions, create a new chat. In the upper right, click the Create New Chat icon .

  4. Type and submit your request for HTML output, for example, Create an HTML report that I can present to my boss that outlines store performance using Omnichannel Retail Pulse. Omit the online channel.

    • Explorer searches for objects that meet your criteria.

    • Explorer generates, displays, and executes the HTML query.

    • Explorer provides a link to the HTML report, with a description of the report.

  5. To view the report and the HTML side-by-side, click the HTML report link. When viewing the report, you can:

    • Download the report by clicking Download in the toolbar.

    • Expand the screen to view the report while hiding the Explorer sidebar and HTML, click the Expand icon . To return, click the Collapse icon .
    • To close the report and return to Explorer, click the Close icon .

  6. You can send the HTML as an attachment in an email directly from Explorer.

  7. Provide feedback on Explorer's answers:

    • To provide positive feedback, hover over the response and click the Thumbs Up icon .

    • To provide negative feedback, hover over the response and click Thumbs Down. To quickly provide general feedback to help fine tune, click the reason or reasons why Explorer did not answer your question, such as Irrelevant Data or Irrelevant Answer. To optionally provide additional details to help fine tune, type your comments in the box. Click Submit.
