Configure Email for Explorer

To use Explorer to draft and send emails, you need to enable sharing via email in Explorer. Next, use Explorer as outlined below to configure the email addresses and smart host.

Configure Email for Explorer

1. Open the Workstation page.

2. In the Navigation pane, click Environment Settings.

3. Click the Environment tab.

4. In the left pane, click Subscription Delivery.

5. Click the Delivery Type tab.

   For background information about delivery types, see View or Edit Subscription Delivery Types.

6. Double-click Email to edit it.

7. In the Message Sender Used in the Email Header section, ensure that the domain of the Email Address is accepted by the smart host.

8. In the Reply-to Used in the Email Header section, ensure that the domain of the Email Address is accepted by the smart host.

9. Click Save.

10. Click the Delivery Device tab.

11. Double-click MCP Email to edit it.

12. In the Smart Host section, update the authentication information to ensure that it is correct.

13. Click Save.
